Education goals of Evening M.S. Program
Theory and practice are both the essential education principle of the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Management (IEEM). Based on engineering background, the IEEM offers a series of education programs, including:
(1) Environmental Pollution and Control Technology
(2) Resources Circulation and Environmental Sustainability
(3) Sustainable Systems Engineering and Management
Associated with the general courses of environmental engineering, some special topics are also provided, such as environmental geographic system, computerized planning, sustainable development index (SDI), and system of integrated environmental management.
Applicants must be graduates of relevant departments of universities or colleges who have received a bachelor's degree or equivalent to a bachelor's degree. In addition, applicants must pass the entrance examination for a master's program. Those who are admitted to a master's program must earn 24 credits for courses and 6 credits for a master thesis within three years, and defend a master's thesis to obtain the MS degree.
